Wound Care@Home. Because the best way to recover from a wound is in your own home.

This is the program specifically developed by NEHC for those people recently discharged from the hospital after having been treated for wounds such as:

  • pressure ulcers
  • venous ulcers
  • arterial ulcers
  • surgical wounds
  • abdominal stomas
  • diabetic and neuropathic ulcers
  • drains
  • fistulas

Our multi-disciplinary team of licensed professionals is specially trained in wound care and the physiology of would healing. Team nurses have received additional specialized training in wound care and the use of advanced wound care products to promote moist wound healing. They assess the individual and the wound to determine the rate and quality of healing and then provide the services that are best suited to each individual’s specific needs. And of course they do it in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

What does Wound Care include?

  • Evaluation of individual and family support systems in the home
  • Case management of complex wounds
